It Isn't Often Oatmeal
In his book, 'The Uranium Fanfare',
A satire on the wicked Scots,
Xenophon omits to mention
Many of their heinous plots
Yet he dwells, in pointless detail
On the follies of the French
Hardly mentions Rob Roy's deeds,
Despatching many a wicked wench
To punishment too hard to bear
Among the Caribbean fops
To pass their grey declining years
Knee-deep in rotten crops
He's scathing in his criticism
Lax in his research
Stubborn in his prejudice
For pudding in the verse!
