Echoes Echoes, Without
By 'Custody' I do not mean
To give offence
To any former go-between
Of mermaid or of beauty queen
Whose pride must be immense:
But rather I intend to say
No epigram,
No roundelay
Nor apothegm of yesterday
In charity, I do not think
To criticise
Those of lesser skill or wit
Are wrong to dub me hypocrite
Or think me less than wise
But rather I intend to yell
A new excuse
Some vile abuse
And damn them all to hell
