The Hopeless Love Clients
One Phoenix, hankering for love
One bathmat, with little to lose
They fell into each other's arms
And then had to choose
Said the first, 'Shall I burst into flame?'
The other: "I'll drink myself dry"
For such were their mutual charms
They both had to cry
But parting, we sense with dejection
The Phoenix and Bathmat, alas,
Excursions aside (and alarms)
Fell into the deepest crevasse
