The course of events which followed,
Followed on, do understand, from Norse
From Norse to South, I heard them say,
Though I was thinking like a toad
My voice
So perilously like a gull's
A gull's, do understand, the bird
That spreads its wings and flies aloft
On legs both charred and old
My hat!
Unsuitable for everyday wear
A special Lune, trilling in verse, a Lune?
A lunatic might understand
or think we're rather daft
The goat
A bleating mamalian goatee,
A hideous pictish effigy
Seeking genuine goat sympathy,
Will soon avenge my dreams
