The Spoonbill Generator

Fleeing, The Sticky Eremite Scratches

Poetry and Poesy declined to fight a duel, [Apsley]

Neither being furnished with a cutlass [Roland]

But History and Rectitude 'went at it' tooth and nail, [Apsley]

A battle of the Good agin the Gutless [Roland]

As witnessed, then, by Sophistry, with Rhetoric at hand, [Apsley]

A victory of Boring over Bland [loaf]

The Muses fair have had their day and gone, at last, for tea [Apsley]

Dancing on the breeze behind the fountain [Beefy]

Their golden tresses waiving hither come, only for thee. [molly]

The Norns, meanwhile, stay hidden in their mountain [Beefy]

But what of Dicky Wagner - with his "Tragic SenseOf Life"? [E Greejius]

That fuzzy little cretin with no life? [Apsley]
