Misspelt Youth Syndrome
A saucer of sour milk for my companion!
(Not to mention an oyster flown from Oslo...)
I considered the exchange was a bargain.
So new and yet so alike the object bartered
A jigger of the finest from your cellar!
(Overlooking the garnish from the garden)
I'm optimistic that prices will fall
And pessimistic that I may do likewise
A beaker-full of port for my postillion!
(Who killed the Troll who's chased us all since Tromso...)
I'm so enthused by all this hospitality
So new, and yet so compelling once you've started
