While Columbus Never Bothered

It's now been raining hereabouts for more than half a year [TG]

More than half a gallon has collected in mine ear [Roland]

I really think that if we don't see sunshine pretty soon [TG]

I shall have to emigrate and settle 'pon the moon [Roland]

The heat round here is blistering, I cannot stand much more [TG]

All the skin has burned away and blistered 'pon my jaw [Roland ]

I really think unless the clouds vouchsafe a little dew [TG]

I shall have to immigrate and settle down at Crewe [Roland]
