Attempts To Separate Meniscus from Surface
Our lady of Sligo
Whose rank impetigo
Was cause for concern
Once took it upon her
To salvage her honour
With fig-leaf and fern:
To protect the unwary
From anything scary
She carried a pin
Whose powers infernal
warped men's hearts eternal
With stigma and sin:
She sheltered her muse
While searching for clues
To the meaning of life
For her queries begot
Neither tittle nor jot
That would hasten her life:
