Exculpatory Dancing
Giants, in their tedious way
Grow more boring every day.
Midgets, though, contrariwise
Get more amusing every night.
Poems, following the same form,
Grow more appealing in a storm
Chickens, clucking in a yard
Lose interest when they swim in lard.
Mermaids from the briny deep
Never doze while counting sheep
