Shriven
Most cats repent of all their sins
And find salvation from within
The local vicar's kitchen bin.
Most dogs regret their guilty wags,
Don consecrated silver tags
And answer to the name of Scrag.
Most fish revile their heresies
Waiting for palingenesy
Whatever the hell that may be
