Bereft Between Widows
My love is like a red, red snapper
Kind of chic, but not so dapper
Clothed only in a plain brown wrapper,
She sheds her clothes for every sapper
My love is like a white carnation
Like those sold in subway stations
And in these days of low inflation
Who could ask for more?
