The Spoonbill Generator

Erie Canal

The creek oozes down through the dimwitted wood [Hagfish]

Where the trees are as dumb as a stump [Kansas Sam]

It pools in dull puddles that do little good [Hagfish]

For the kids down the hill from the dump [Kansas Sam]

The squirrels tell the chipmunks they can teach them to fly [Edgar]

For a fee that, to 'munks, is chump change [Kansas Sam]

The woodpecker warns, "You'd better not try" [Edgar]

"Their harness is riddled with mange" [Kansas Sam]
