Snow Slithers Up
The night was dark and stormy
Carborundum nightmares haunted every waking moment
Suddenly, a shot rang out!
And died did he most suddenly
I heard two orphans begging for food
In perfect major thirds they trilled
But I ignored their plaintive cries, being Welsh and short
And anyway, I had to see a fish about a bicycle
