Boots of Silly Leather
Silly Sally from the valley liked to dilly dally
Peter Potter had a daughter who liked to teeter totter
They danced together on the heather, wearing boots of leather
Then post ball, they read withal--Madame de Stahl, et al
Happy Harry was to marry with his sweetheart Carrie
Handy Sandy had to bandy with a feathered dandy
They liked to jaw about the war, it often made us snore
But when they swore like some old whore, no longer did they bore
