When Ambrosia of the Peppermint...
Moonbeams and fairy dust, stardust and ambosia
Lavender seaweed drapes hang from the sky
Copper breezes, smiles in the clouds
The dead orchard's shivering peppermint shroud
Winged things and gold dust, moonstones and palaver
Quicksilver rainbeads bejewel black tombs
Silver conches, mermaids on dry land
Clouds of gold drifting over turquoise sands
Nebulae and quasars, rhinestones and mauve fuschia
Rainbows shimmer in the spill from the gargoyle's maw.
While two black swans drift aimlessly, a plea
Goes out to commute their sentences for grand theft auto
