Calculating Between
The calculator is calculating its own lifespan
'Till the random numbers repeat again
It must enumerate its own inner connections
And recharge its battery now and then
It must count chickens before they are hatched
Two, four, six, eight...nine
Digits flashing redly, blurring
Dot by dot and line by line too
Chips and busses
Tasty and fast
This busy deus ex machina
has calculated its last.
