Bus Baby Boop

I went down to the bus station to meet my baby [Q]

Well she's one real fine lady and I don't mean maybe [N]

boop, boop....................boop, boop.................... [Q]

I watched her comin' down those steps, and oh my lordy [N]

She said, "It's been awhile. Howya doin', Gordy?" [F]

(boppity boppity boppity bop.............bop, bop, bop..............) [Anon.]

Well, she gave me a kiss and I dang near fainted [F]

Her dress was red, her hair was up, her face was painted [N]

heeeeeeeehaaaaaawwwwww [F]

I took her pretty arm in mine, and we went walkin' [Anon.]

The way her hips wiggled, it done got me a-talkin' [F]

(bip bip ba boodah beeeeep...beeep....) [N]

Well, I couldn't shut up; dang, was I embarrassed [F]

Of all the girls that I'd been with, she was the fairest [N]

yippee-ki-o-ki-yay [F]

I got down on one knee, and asked if we could marry [N]

"But Gordy, hon," she then replied, "I thought you was a fairy." [F]
