Storm the Language Barricade!
But English has become the lingua franca of the world
While Latin's corpus delicti lies unstudied
The Cornish tongue's new banner is about to be unfurled
The Bard's fine works now sport a certain brogue
When Finney plays Macbeth or Brosnan Hamlet
The eldest James Bond's accent's now in vogue
Along with his kilt and his tam. Let
Song ring out 'cross ev'ry loch and glen
And cwm and mull and combe and fen and dell
Ah, Brian Boru and Braveheart, come again
Fore'er for the highlands I'll wistfully yen
