Persistent Fading
Chatting can be difficult
With your tongue removed
Humming can be difficult
When your vocal chords snap
Huffing, though, is easier
Unless your neck is severed
And then you must appease her
And glue those parts dismembered
We might resort to semaphore
Had we but eyes to see
And (please excuse the metaphor)
And let the blind be
Morse code, it seems, is all we've got
Incessantly tapping
dot dot dot; dot dash dash dot
Don't let us be caught napping
At pheromones, we both just stink
At flavor, no parfum
Our eyes are Pepto Bismol pink
Let's hit the shower room
