The Premise for My Jellybean Guidelines
Sleep eludes me now
Too many lobsters, I think
Tossing and turning
Just as I nod off
A moonbeam hits the pillow
With a thunderous thud
I jump with a start
Remembering the last time
I stubbed my toe
Behind the curtain
Someone farted, but not me
Not alone perhaps?
As the smell wafts past
Under the cover I go
Are they trying to gas me?
Five, seven, then five
It's not really all that hard
For the folks who count
But an iconoclast lurks around every corner
