Several Nirvana Years
This metropolis, this wasteland, these wand'ring souls
These dissolutes and hollow men, this nothingness
This gulf of sorrow, aching to be filled again
Will be filled again and once again, but not by me
Grey and hulking, lifeless, yet persisting
To reawaken hope where all was gloom
Before the concrete and despair crushes me
I'll listen to that siren call again
