Gene Pylons
Andromaque: 'twixt bloodied sheets
A sanguine tale unfurls
Of wedding nights and manly feats
Of drinks, and fights, and girls
All torn asunder by the strain
Of harlots and of churls
Andromaque: in fervent shifts
They lunge and plunge and hack
Their manly vigour unrestrained
By chin or chimney-stack
As Pyrrus' soul to Hades drifts
It buys a ticket back
