Haiku With Problems
The jester donned his liripipe
Death fetched his robe and scythe
The singer grabbed her mandolin
and played a tune so blythe
The king was in his counting house
Along with his accountant
"The blackbirds are embezzling!"
"A consid'rable amount, and
What with falling interest
The honey stocks are low"
And how the queen will clean her crown
On Tuesday, I don't know
