Debauchery, Alcohol, And Nothing Left
There appears to be much merriment tonight
Solemnity is called for when you flunk
Your greatest test, by getting drunk
Is whether you can handle any plight
There seems to be confusion in the air
Enlightment is called for, don't you think?
I wouldn't know, but god I need a drink
I hope you've got some Scotch to spare
There appears to be much guzzling this day
For Christmas comes six weeks before expected
And so, with this excuse, I have elected
To go and pour a pleasant Chardonnay
