Several Sporting Opportunities For Norwich
What makes a lively lunchtime
Is a game of office cricket
Using chairs for the pavilion
The dustbin as the wicket
The pencils, as spectators
Cheering on the bowler
Behind the dividing sight-screen
Sits the white-board score controller
Sedition on the boundary –
A dropped catch gone for six -
The stapler and the cooler shout
This batsman, he knows all the tricks
At last, here comes the spinner
The stress-ball leaves his hand
Who'll date-stamp this delivery?
Or will it slice the stumps?
