Dreaming Of Bagels And Java
When you met me in the restaurant
You asked me, just what did I want
So I ordered forty bagels,
And an essay, one of Hegel's
With a steaming cup of java
That resembled molten lava
I downed it with alacrity
(I have such great capacity)
"Dessert with that?" I think you asked
(I knew you once had multi-tasked)
So you served me cake while sneezing
While your eyebrows you were tweezing
With a pair of cast-iron pliers
(In the meantime, bonking friars)
I dreamed instead of more to drink
(And that's enough of that, I think)
