The Ultimate Sob Story
The squash, I fear, is overcooked
Its "squish" cannot be overlooked
The turkey, too, is rather dry
(I think it said to bake, not fry)
The yams are rather mushy, too
The potatoes a moldy shade of blue
All in all, a perfect meal!
The squash in here is hard to bear
I think I got some in my hair
The pumpkin pie will break your tooth
Oh, yes it will - I say - forsooth!
The whipped cream smeared across the top
Fresh pilfered from the corner shop
It's all enough to make one squeal!
Envoi
For every type of food there's something to be said
But if it's an animal, I do prefer it dead
Whereas, with a vegetable, its skin is on its head
