Ruined Dreamscapes

I had an eerie dream last week [Irene Adler]

(One which will wake you with a shriek) [fester]

Though why you're dreaming, I don't know, [Apsley]

Nor do I care; the dream was so [loaf]

Strange and scary - yet compelling - [fester]

Manged and hairy - soon bestselling - [Kansas Sam]

That I can't say another word [Apsley]

Without it seeming too absurd... [fester]

So – what dreams have you concealed [Roland]

When, on a plate, you lay congealed? [Apsley]

When, on a table laid for two [Roland]

You spat out a farmyard zoo, [Apsley]

Complete with seven nested foals [loaf]

That seemed to swim across the bowls [Apsley]

Left out to trap the winter's drought [Roland]

By some impatient stupid trout [Apsley]

What fantasies, what fleeting whims [Roland]

Have kept you drinking from that Pimm's?! [Apsley]

I plan one further night-time trip [Roland]

If I can give my nurse the slip [Beefy ]

My wife once wore when, in her prime [Roland]

With lustrous eyes and lips sublime, [Beefy ]

or to that dreaming state take her to be with me [Andy Walker]

And openly espouse another dynasty [loaf]
