Happiness, The Noose Of Love
Poetry I never knew found love on your demise
This heartache ever dragging on, offending rarest skies
I long for the fire of passionate joy to burn once again in my heart
Dare I recall each silent tomb, rapt as in tearful sighs
This heartache ever begs, ever aches, to let end start
before the pain tears my soul apart.
How I wish, how I wish you were here
To wash my socks and serve me beer
I long for the taste of home-cooked meals to linger once again on my tongue
And to sing all the ditties that were ever sung
There is nothing else I would rather do
Then trill in falsetto all evening to you
