Tale Of Municipal Ribaldry
What strange goings-on have there been in this town
The mayor, we hear, has buggered a clown
The clown, we are told, often spanks the Assessor;
The bailiff, though, is the true aggressor
For he has declared his undying love
To a dirty kidskin left-handed glove
Which used to belong to the magistrate's clerk
Who wore it when giving policemen a jerk
What strange goings-on have there been in this town
