Nothing Percolates Like Treacle
Have you ever thought of peppering your toes?
Or salting away the soles of your shoes?
Or, God help us, flambeing your nose?
(That sort of thing can often amuse)
Have you ever thought of larding your shins?
Or buttering up your shoulder blades?
Or braising your vestigial fins?
Or underarm, your hair in braids?
Have you ever thought of basting your knees?
Or sprinkling parsley on your heels?
Or seasoning your numerous fleas?
(This sort of talk puts me off meals)
