"Enough!" Said Old McDonald
Inspiration isn't need - not when you're a pote
You can always take my lead, and copy what I wrote
Or pretend that you can't read and just ignore my note
That gets my vote
Variation isn't need - not in the second verse
You can always take the view that prolix betters terse
But somewhere in between is prob'ly less perverse
Extremes are worse
Termination isn't need - not if there's more to come
You can always take that stance and spew out more than some
But never-ending poetry can drive a man to rum
Are we that dumb?
