Somebody Is Rotting
It seemed (to me...) to be the very tiniest of gaffes
Or so I thought--then came the raucous laughs
The teacher looked me in the eye; I somehow played it straight
Then later hid myself inside a packing crate
The odor, though, it followed me, as stink is wont to do
I asked my friend who had a cold - he said he smelled it too
(Like when you flush repeatedly and still no one can breathe)
This stink that's coming from my pants is causing me to seethe
It's clear the stench comes from my rear, but I know not the cause
Perhaps in morning haste I put on someone else's drawers
And still it lingers--friends and family staying blocks away
I think I'll just crawl back to bed to wait another day
