Misuse Of That Darn Animal
Don't wear a cat for a hat
Don't wear a gnu for a shoe
And wearing doves for gloves, well that
Will simply not do
Don't use a fox for a box
Don't tie a bear in your hair
And using gophers for loafers
Is hardly playing fair
Don't dig a hole with a sole
Don't dig a rig with a pig
And wearing lox for socks, how droll
Don't give a goose to a moose
Don't use a lamb for a tam
And making a wish on a fish
Or taking wool from a bull
Don't use a fly as a tie
Don't use a dog for a cog
Haddock in the paddock or a fly in the sty
Would leave us all agog
Don't make a stew out of glue
Don't use a hake for a steak
And that brown-sugar Foxy for epoxy
Would be a bad mistake
