The Parliamentary Parsley Supplier
Peel an onion? - for a jape?
Tie your mouth with masking tape
For suggesting such a thing!
Here I stand, the Queen of Frowns
In quite a patchery of gowns,
Silent but for bellowing:
'Bring your dead down to the stream!'
Then the pass-the-parcel team
'Will entrance them with their string'
Though the marsh may slide and seep
Mixed-up maidens who do weep
Sometimes lose the urge to sing
Ballads of their uttering
