Nobody Shaves Oswald
In search of the perfect asparagus
That quakes in the dusk of Nepal
The noted explorer Caractacus
Dressed up as Lauren Bacall
He thought he was being non-profligate
In sequins and pearls borne of paste
For the outré he was an advocate
And wholly lacking in taste
But the shamans he met dressed so oddly
That asparagus lost its allure
And he resolved to dress even more mod-ly
And sought out La Plus Haute Couture
In stiletto heels, climbing Mount Everest
Pursued by the popular press
He proved that their pumps were not cleverest
But what a magnificent dress!
Envoi
The rest we must tell in one line:
Or else, without reason, decline
