Wise Virgins Stitched In Gorgonzola
Vanishing by windmills,
Fainting over weirs
Ridicule the laughing men
Ridicule their fears
Evanescing follies
Vaporous conceits
Envelope the suffering
And strap them in their seats
Then the portent wavers
Bray for rest or land
Painters and engravers
Lead a shabby band
Thank the potent weavers
who stitched the globe together
The cloudy unbelievers
it's better late than never
Envoi
Disappearing's not a game
Despite its entirely misleading name
