Louse, Louise
Feasting on the gouts of blood
That jetted from her neck
Pete, assisted well by Dud,
Dived from the upper deck
And glimpsed big bathing
Beauties on the half-abandoned wreck
Some of them were dugongs; yet
He didn't care a jot:
Judging by their silhouette
They once adorned a yacht,
In skimpy costumes
Garnered from some half-abandoned spot
Mermaids, by another name
Would still appear as cute
But when a dugong looks the same
As just another newt,
We can't but wonder
Idly at their half-abandoned suit
