Duplicitous Herrings in Identifiable Watercourses
Catechresis mumbles, in the final act,
Solecism lurks beyond the line
But nothing in the Bible can help disguise the fact
That string is not a metaphor for twine
Similes ascetic, when they all fall down
Periphrastics hide behind the door
And little in their mien will now compound Our Town
A wilder visage than we've seen before
As the prophets said (once - when tipsy):
Never underrate a gypsy
Gipsy spelt another way
