Duplicitous Herrings in Identifiable Watercourses

Catechresis mumbles, in the final act,       [Apsley ]

Solecism lurks beyond the line       [olaf ]

But nothing in the Bible can help disguise the fact       [Chevalier ]

That string is not a metaphor for twine       [Apsley ]

Similes ascetic, when they all fall down       [olaf ]

Periphrastics hide behind the door       [Chevalier ]

And little in their mien will now compound Our Town       [Apsley ]

A wilder visage than we've seen before       [olaf ]

As the prophets said (once - when tipsy):       [Apsley ]

Never underrate a gypsy       [olaf ]

Gipsy spelt another way       [Apsley ]

OK       [olaf ]
